Self-Made U

PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Self-Made U LLC (“Self-Made U,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website self-madeu.com, including its subdomains such as quiz.self-madeu.com (together, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

We keep this simple on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at tracy@self-madeu.com and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Who We Are

Self-Made U LLC is a coaching and personal-development company founded by Tracy and Gracie. We offer free resources (including the Self-Sabotage Quiz and downloadable guides), a free community hosted on Skool, paid coaching upgrades, and physical products (journals and planners) sold through our online store.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you take our quiz, download a free resource, join our email list, contact us, or make a purchase, you may provide: your first name, email address, your quiz responses and result (your self-sabotage pattern), billing and shipping information for orders, and anything you include in messages to us. Comments you post on our blog include the name and content you submit.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect certain information automatically when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and general usage data. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your consent choices (see “Cookies and Your Choices” below).

Information from purchases. When you buy from our store, payment is processed by our commerce and payment providers. We receive order details (what you bought, your name, email, and shipping address). We never see or store your full credit card number.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as health data, government ID numbers, or precise location.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to deliver your quiz results and the free resources you request; to send you the email series you signed up for, plus occasional updates, offers, and coaching content; to fulfill and ship orders and provide customer service; to operate, secure, and improve the Site and understand which content is useful; to run our free community and coaching programs; and to comply with legal obligations.

We send marketing email only to people who have given us their email address through the quiz, a download, a purchase, or a signup. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the business:

  • Email, forms, and quiz funnel: HighLevel (LeadConnector) — stores your name, email, and quiz pattern, and sends our emails
  • Online store and order fulfillment: Shopify
  • Payment processing: Stripe and PayPal
  • Community and coaching: Skool (when you join, Skool’s own privacy policy also applies to your account there)
  • Website hosting and performance: GlowHost and QUIC.cloud (content delivery and caching)
  • Analytics: Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager, loaded only with your consent
  • Spam protection and site services: WordPress plugins including Akismet and Jetpack

Some of our products are also available on Amazon. Purchases made on Amazon are governed entirely by Amazon’s privacy policy — we receive no personal customer data from Amazon sales.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data).

Cookies and Your Choices

We use cookies for site functionality, and — with your consent — for analytics. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your mind anytime on our cookie preferences page or by clearing your browser cookies.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sharing covered by applicable law.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information for as long as you have a relationship with us — for example, while you’re on our email list or have an account or order history. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you immediately and retain only what we need for legal and accounting purposes (such as order records). You can request deletion at any time (see “Your Rights”).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS encryption across the Site, security headers, limited access to customer data, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.

Your Rights

Everyone: You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and you can email us to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We respond to every request.

California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to access and correct it, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we honor GPC signals. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To exercise any right, email tracy@self-madeu.com.

Residents of the EEA and UK: You have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing are consent (marketing emails, analytics cookies), contract (orders and purchases), and legitimate interest (operating and securing the Site).

We will verify requests using the email address associated with your information and respond within the timeframe required by law.

Children

The Site and our programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party platforms — including Skool, Shopify, Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. If we make a material change, we’ll notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Site before it takes effect.
